I want to use the official Monero GUI wallet without running my own node, connecting to the remote one. While doing it I want all of my traffic to be routed through Tor. I saw that the GUI has the option of using socks5 proxy, but this proxy is not used for all traffic, just the listed parts of it. Hence comes the question that current docs don't give an answer to - does the GUI produce any traffic besides the listed for proxy option when I'm using a remote node?
I've read in an answer here somewhere that blockchain syncing for one's own node is done through clearnet, but is there anything done through clearnet in the absence of own node?
