I am a Ph.D. student in mathematics at The University of Toledo, Ohio (starting Fall $2025$), originally from India. Prior to this, I worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata. My academic journey has been shaped by a deep fascination with the elegance and complexity of Geometry and Topology, particularly in their rich interplay with Analysis.

My research interests center around Riemann surfaces, algebraic curves, and differential geometry topology, as well as the geometric aspects of complex analysis. I am also keenly interested in Functional Analysis, Operator Theory, and Real Analysis. While my focus lies in Pure Mathematics, I am equally curious about its applications and am eager to explore connections that bridge Pure and Applied Mathematics.

On Mathematics Stack Exchange, my goals are to:

$1.$ Contribute high-quality, well-reasoned answers to advanced mathematical questions.

$2.$ Learn from the diverse insights shared by this global community.

$3.$ Engage in meaningful discussions that promote deeper understanding and clarity in mathematics.

Let's Connect: I’m in the process of creating an online discussion community for students and researchers who share a passion for mathematics. If you’re interested in joining or collaborating, feel free to reach out: kishalay.sarkar2000@gmail.com.
