I am a senior lecturer of mathematics at The University of Melbourne. Previously, I was a Lise Meitner/research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, a postdoc at Brandeis University, a grad student at Rice University, and an undergrad at SUNY Geneseo. I spent most of my life pre-college in Kolkata, India.

My research is primarily on 4-manifolds and knot concordance.
