When I start my full node, there are multiple offline nodes that bitmonerod keeps attempting to connect to. How can I manually stop bitmonerod from trying to connect to nodes that are no longer working? If I do nothing, exactly how long does it take…

I am wondering whether it is possible to solo-mine, with a non-public node. I have no port-forwarding configured at this stage, so when I display the monerod status, it doesn't show any outgoing connections obviously: Height: 1173753/1173753…

I know that this should work, because I did this a while ago, but it doesn't. It opens as usual till "Loading blockchain from folder C:.....", But it works when I turn the internet back on. Is there anything I can do?

How do I get started with a monero Regtest node? I am running monerod with --regtest, but when I mine, the difficulty quickly increases to a point where I need to wait an hour to generate a fair amount of blocks.
